Two AI features help you understand searcher intent and ask SEO questions right inside the extension.
Search Intent: analyzing search intent
When you search on Google (google.com or google.com.vn), SERPUPDATE automatically displays an intent analysis panel in the right column of the results page.
What the panel provides
- Intent label: Informational, Comparison, Transactional, or Navigational.
- Winning content angle: the type of content currently ranking high.
- What you need to rank: the content elements you must cover.
- Content opportunity: the gaps you can capitalize on.
How it works
The Extension reads the top organic results and the AI Overview if present, then sends them to the AI. Results are cached by keyword to save resources. You can turn this feature on or off in Settings.
AI Chat Assistant
How to use it
- Type your question into the “Ask anything about this page” box at the bottom bar, or open the AI Chat tab.
- Click Send. The AI analyzes the current page and replies, showing the model name and the number of tokens used.
- Click Stop to stop midway, or Clear to clear the conversation.
Example questions: “What should this page improve to raise its GEO score?”, “Rewrite an SEO-friendly title tag for this page”, “Why is the E-E-A-T score low?”.
Configuring the AI provider
In Settings, you choose a provider and enter your own API key. Supported providers include OpenAI, Google Generative AI, Anthropic (Claude), OpenRouter, NVIDIA NIM, Perplexity, DeepSeek, xAI, and ChatAnywhere.
