- Account Information: When you register: email address, display name, login history, account settings.
- Authentication Data (via Chrome Extension): The Extension stores authentication tokens (JWT)in browser cookies to maintain your login session with app.serpupdate.com. These tokens are never shared with third parties.
- Web Page Content (via Chrome Extension): When you use the Rank Checker feature, the Extension reads the HTML of Google search result pages (SERP) and sends it to our servers to save your keyword ranking history. This only occurs when you actively trigger the feature — the Extension does not passively monitor your browsing.
- Service Usage Data: Tracked keywords, SERP history, audit reports, session duration.
- Payment Information: Transaction details (excluding credit card numbers — handled by third-party payment processors).
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, Extension version, error logs for service improvement.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
- Provide and maintain SEO/GEO/AI audit services
- Save and display keyword ranking history
- Authenticate accounts and maintain secure sessions
